Venus Kennedy is a licensed clinical therapist and supervisor, trauma-informed consultant, and founder of Charlotte Women’s Counseling with over 17 years of experience supporting women in the clinical setting and now in leadership, entrepreneurship, and business.
As a mother and business owner, Venus brings both clinical expertise and lived experience to every room she enters.
Her person-centered, empowering approach helps leadership teams and professionals manage the mental load, prevent burnout, and set sustainable boundaries.
Venus is also a skilled problem-solver and consultant who helps organizations resolve team dynamics and build mentally healthy workplaces from the inside out.

Shawna Lauer, LMFT-QS
Expert Speaker | Therapist | Community Educator
Shawna Lauer is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 25 years of experience supporting women, families, and communities through anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. With a deep understanding of systemic dynamics, Shawna brings a unique ability to connect the dots between personal wellness and organizational culture.
As a speaker and facilitator, she specializes in translating complex psychological concepts into accessible, actionable strategies for everyday life. Her workshops and talks focus on managing stress, supporting emotional resilience, and navigating the intersection of motherhood, career, and identity—all through a culturally responsive, trauma-informed lens.
Shawna has held leadership roles across schools, nonprofits, and mental health organizations and is passionate about making wellness approachable and inclusive for all.

Tameka Whittlesey, LCASA, LCSW
Workplace Wellness & Trauma-Informed Consultant
Tameka is a licensed clinical social worker and trauma therapist who partners with organizations to create psychologically safe, grief-responsive, and inclusive workplaces. She specializes in facilitating small group trainings and staff support sessions around collective grief, vicarious trauma, parental leave transitions, and burnout prevention.
With a background in hospital care, perinatal mental health, and somatic therapy, she brings a grounded, anti-oppressive lens to organizational wellness. Tameka helps teams feel seen, supported, and sustainable—especially in times of loss or change.
