Life’s most significant transitions—from the turbulent years of adolescence to the profound shifts of motherhood—often bring with them a mix of fear and overwhelming challenge. I am a compassionate, grounded therapist dedicated to walking alongside women and teens as they navigate their own path forward.

I hold a deep, personal passion for supporting women through all of life's complexities, including the postpartum period and birth trauma. Having personally walked one traumatic birth story, I understand that the reality of bringing life into the world doesn’t always match the “dream” we’re sold. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space for mothers to process their birth experiences, manage postpartum feelings of anxiety and depression, and reclaim their sense of self amidst new demands.

I am also deeply committed to my work with teens. With over 15 years of experience as a former classroom teacher and school counselor, I carry a unique, “frontline” perspective on the challenges students face daily—from high-stakes academic pressures and identity questions to the emotional toll of the modern digital landscape. I am passionate about helping adolescents and their families reconnect and navigate difficult life transitions, identity exploration, and the social-emotional hurdles that inevitably arise.

My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply rooted in empathy and coaching. I integrate evidence-based strategies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Reality Therapy, through a trauma-informed lens. I believe that by processing and working through our traumatic histories, we can dismantle the obstacles they have placed in our path, allowing you to move from surviving to flourishing as your best, most authentic self. I believe that therapy is most beneficial when it fosters healthy relationships and nurtures the self-awareness needed to thrive.

I am committed to providing an inclusive and affirming space for individuals of all races, religions, sexual orientations, and gender identities. It is my priority that you feel seen, respected, and safe in our work together.

When I’m not with clients, you’ll find me out walking any number of foster dogs, serving as a thought-partner in creating phone-free communities on K-12 campuses in the South, or actively losing at chess to one of my two children.
