Healing After Loss: A Journey Through Grief and Pregnancy Loss is a therapeutic support group for individuals who have experienced pregnancy loss. This group offers a compassionate and empathetic space to navigate the complexities of grief associated with this unique type of loss.


It aims to foster a sense of community and connection among members, helping the process their emotions and reconnect with their bodies through Somatic Experiencing (SE). By enabling members to withstand the distress caused by their loss, the group seeks to rebuild hope and empower resilience through shared experiences.

Weekly Topics:


1. Introduction and Building Trust

2. Acknowledging and Accepting the Loss

3. Understanding and Widening Sensations 

4. Recognizing and Managing Triggers

5. Processing Emotions and Creating New Narratives

6. Building Resilience and Finding Support

7. Setting Intentions and Moving Forward with Hope

8. Closure and Moving Forward

When: Meets Weekly on Wednesdays from 3:15pm - 4:30pm.

Dates: September 4th through October 23, 2024.

Where: Charlotte Women's Counseling; 1800 East Blvd. Charlotte, NC 28203

Cost: $60 per week; FSA/HSA accepted.
