Hi and welcome to Charlotte Women’s Counseling!  We are so thankful you have found us and look forward to connecting with you soon.  As Practice Manager and Scheduler I am here to help to answer any questions you might have regarding our services and therapists, to help you to navigate our online booking tools, and to simply make the administrative piece of your counseling journey as stress free as possible.

As a wife, mother and on the go woman – life brings with it the most intense of ups and downs.  I understand what a brave and sometimes overwhelming first step it is to reach out and ask for help.  I am here to make that just a little easier, and I can assure you, that with the team of therapists at Charlotte Women’s Counseling you could not be in better hands.  We are here to ensure you have access to quality mental health care and I promise to be a friendly voice along the way.

I earned my degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2007.  Following graduation, I commissioned into the Marine Corps where I served four years on Active Duty as an Adjutant, stationed primarily at Camp Pendleton, CA. Upon leaving Active Duty, I led a women-focused at home business.  Through the pandemic my focus shifted more to my family and community philanthropic projects.  Each of these experiences has brought me to where I am today and I am excited to now have the opportunity to support you and our team at Charlotte Women’s Counseling.

Ariana Rivera

Administrative Assistant

Hello and welcome! I am glad that you have found Charlotte Women’s Counseling and I am eager to work with you soon. As Assistant to the Practice Manager it is my job to assist in finding the right Therapist for you, in scheduling appointments, and in ensuring your administrative needs are met.

I am currently a rising Senior undergraduate student at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Health Systems Management. Upon graduation, I intend to pursue a Masters in Health administration. Fun Fact: I am also a student athlete! I am passionate about healthcare and in making sure that the health system works as smoothly as possible. I look forward to being a part of the process that ensures individuals receive the best care while also having the best possible experience. I am passionate about mental health and understand how important it is to make sure that those who need mental health care most, receive it. These two drivers have led me to Charlotte Women’s Counseling. Through this position I hope to gain more knowledge on the operations that surround management and the health system, while making an impact on how quality mental health care is accessed in the community. I am happy to have this opportunity to help you and acknowledge that it takes strength to seek help. I, as well as the team at Charlotte Women’s Counseling, are here to make sure that you get exactly what you need when you reach out to us.
